Generous community gifts and donations keep everyone smiling!
Family members, friends and the local villagers of Lymm have made very generous gestures and said a huge 'Thank you' to the staff at Keate House by sending in gifts, food donations as well PPE masks and Uniform bags to help everyone stay safe and well.
Throughout the Easter period and April the home saw lots of packages arrive from many local groups, organisations and families of the staff and residents. Oughtrington School sent beautiful personalized Easter cards from the children which delighted everyone and Evie and George sent lovely sunshine cards also. Fantastic PPE was also received including aprons, face masks and face visors from Fab Lab, Woolston C of E School, Sam Collard, Pro Tech, Lymm High School, Dr Bucham, Daniel Halliwell, The Jolly Thresher, UTC.
Budding sewers also made scrubs and uniform bags for the staff with one family member having made lovely face masks for the residents to use when required. Many thanks to Wieslawa, Katie, Sylwia, Helena, Serena, Melissa and Carolyn.
Very kind food donations were also made to the home - milk, cakes and lots of chocolate to keep the staff going all from local shops including Marks and Spencer’s, Lymm Coffee House as well as Lymm High School. The staff have also enjoyed their goody bags of toiletries donated by Lymm Leave No One Behind, they also loved the much needed hand cream received from Eleanor.
Keate House cannot thank everyone in our community enough for thinking of them and for all the very kind gifts and gestures to keep everyone feeling loved and cared for. Please continue to keep in touch and stay safe and well in our beautiful village. What a wonderful caring community we have. Thank you so much to everyone!
