Keate House shortlisted in two categories for 2021 Caring UK Awards
Keate House are delighted to be shortlisted as finalists in the Caring UK Awards 2021 in two categories: for Regional Care Home of the Year – North, and secondly for Excellence and Innovation in Dementia.
The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony at The Athena in Leicester on 2nd December when the industry will gather to salute all that is great about the caring sector and recognise the amazing contribution it makes particularly during the pandemic.
Care Home Manager Diane Clarkson said “We are very proud to be shortlisted for these categories as the awards are for the whole home, facilities and staff. We have a wonderful team at Keate House and it is great for this to be recognised.”
The Caring UK Awards recognise excellence and achievement within the care sector across the whole of the UK. An awards spokesperson said “Never has there been a more appropriate time to recognise the amazing and selfless contribution that our carers make and how they have given so much to protect and care for their residents in the face of unprecedented challenges”.
In addition, Keate House were also very pleased to be shortlisted by the National Activity Providers Association NAPA for their Arts in Care Award category, the virtual ceremony was held on the 1st October 2021 and was watched by staff and residents in the home.
