Activity team recognised in NAPA’s Professionals Week

The last week in January saw the National Activity Providers Association launch their very first Professionals week where thousands took to social media to show their support and to celebrate the contributions of Activity Providers across the country. Keate House’s very own activity champions Melissa, Beverley and Ryan were delighted and honoured when then received their special personal certificates of recognition for their services to activity provision in the care home.
The inaugural event consisted of a week of celebrations, webinars and partying to allow everyone to show their appreciation of the wonderful job activity coordinators do throughout our homes!
One of the many inclusive and engaging events the Keate House team organised earlier in January was to be part of National Milk Day which was created to celebrate the very first time milk was delivered to homes inside sterilised glass bottles.
Throughout the home residents had great fun milking Keate House’s very own cow and tasting lots of lovely dairy samples. The pictures tell the story of such a fun and informative time everyone had – a perfect example of the Activity team at work!
