Keate House February kindness and friendship in abundance
February saw a very busy and creative month in the home where the Keate House community showed huge heart recognising and thinking of others through arts, crafts, creative gestures and general giving. The 4th of February saw the team support National Wear Red Day - the annual awareness day for Heart disease, a major health threat for women from all over the world. Thank you to everyone both inside and outside the home who made generous donations for the local heart charity collections.
The 14th February needed no introduction to share the love on St Valentine’s Day where residents enjoyed singing, dancing and lots of fun and where staff member Zoe made a beautifully delicious Valentine’s Day chocolate cake for the staff team too.
On the national Random Acts of Kindness Day on the 17th February residents enjoyed making and sharing their beaded friendship bracelets. What a clever, kind and creative group everyone at Keate House is!
We would like to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers who come into the home to do a whole variety of art and creative classes. You have been very much missed and it’s been so wonderful to welcome everyone back this month!
