An eggstra special Easter!
Residents at Keate House enjoyed a special fun-filled Easter to remember this year as the sun shone on a week of wonderful activities and celebrations which included visits from four legged friends of all descriptions, as well as the home's traditional visit from the Easter bunny with his basket of chocolate eggs for all!
In festive preparation, residents got crafty by making their very own Easter bonnets for the Easter bonnet parade, as well as seasonal cards to send to family and friends. They also got involved in preparing for the garden Easter egg hunt, where everyone received a certificate for sucessful completion. Special thanks go to Birchall Foodservice who very kindly donated wonderful Easter egg templates for the Easter Egg hunt.
The Kitchen staff once again excited everyone’s tastebuds with a beautiful Easter menu with lunch and evening meals for all to enjoy together on Easter Sunday. The following week the home was delighted to welcome a menagerie of special four-legged friends where residents and staff loved meeting and greeting the Alpacas, Lamas and Pygmy goats for special Easter cuddles, which topped off an all round special time for everyone!
