Right royal celebrations for Her Majesty’s Jubilee!

Residents at Keate House didn’t hold back for the Queens’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations at the start of June. The staff team organsied a whole host of celebration activities and events over the four-day weekend which centred around the large garden party marquee on the lawn.

As well as music, dancing, games and lovely party lunches, residents also enjoyed all the pre-event preparations of making bunting, party decorations and planting beautiful garden pots. They also thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing about Her Majesty’s reign whilst looking at royal tribute books and pictures, sharing their own memories and stories of Queen Elizabeth and of jubilee celebrations gone by!

No British celebration weekend would be complete without a traditional fish and chip supper to mark the special holiday occasion!
