Team Keate pay tribute to love ones in Alzeimer’s Memory Walk

The Keate House team went out in numbers during October to pay tribute to their loved ones lost to dementia.
Residents, families and staff members joined forces and walked a route around Ridgeway within Grundy Park Lymm to be part of the Alzeimer’s Society national initiative to raise awareness of their dementia support group - Treasured Times.
The Autumn ramble was followed by a memory poem and refreshments in the Keate House garden where everyone was invited to place their memory tags in the tribute area to remember their special people.
Care Home Manager Diane Clarkson commented:
“The Alzeimer’s Society Memory Walk provided a lovely opportunity for residents, families and staff to get together to remember our loved ones who have died with a dementia. We were very pleased to take part to also show support for the fantastic work the society does in raising awareness of Dementia. Team Keate raised £150 in sponsorship for this wonderful charity which was the icing on the cake for this very successful and fitting community event. Thank you to everyone who was involved and supported us in whatever way possible”
