Blackpool Illuminations & fish and chip supper is a hit for all!

After the challenges of getting out and about for trips in recent years, residents were delighted that the Keate House annual trip to Blackpool illuminations was firmly back in the home’s activities and events programme again this year. 

 

A walk along the promenade saw the sharing of many childhood memories with visits also to the rock shops and arcades - where everyone noticed that the ‘one penny’ slot machines are now sadly a thing of the past! 

 

A delicious fish and chip supper was warmly welcomed and still tasted as good as ever, topping off a fantastic seaside day that everyone thoroughly enjoyed!
