Residents and staff share Christmas with the local community!
Team Keate love nothing more than celebrating festivals and events to the full and this Christmas was no exception. Everyone in the home was delighted and thankful for all the wonderful visitors who arrived with donations and gifts as well as those who gave their precious time to do activities and entertain everyone, with festive cheer!
We have a long list of people to thank for their support all year round, but special mentions go to: Kerry and Scott from Sainsburys Lymm who kindly donated a wonderful hamper full of hand- made blankets and lots of goodies . To the students of Lymm High School who visited armed with homemade Christmas cards for residents in the Treasured Memory Lounge and to all those family members who joined us on the Treasured Times Walk on the 22nd December, where we remembered those we love and have lost.
The wonderful Keate House Christmas Tree shone bright at the Christmas Tree festival in St Mary’s Church Lymm and was decorated with the dementia jewels theme, with every resident having written their personal Christmas memory to display.
A huge ‘Thank you’ to everyone who made Christmas extra special for residents and staff at Keate House this year, there certainly was lots of fun, care and beaming smiles!
