Residents create beautiful tree for Dignity Action Day

Friday 1st February was Dignity Action Day an annual opportunity for health, social care workers and the general public to build awareness of the importance of upholding the rights to dignity for those who use the care services.
Residents put their crafting skills to the test to create a beautiful tree which included butterfly leaves with special significant dignity messages, for each individual in the home.
Sue, Keate House’s Dignity Lead, held interactive discussions and activities with the ladies, gents and the Keate House team to promote and create awareness of this special day.
Sue commented:
“It was a truly memorable day at Keate House which raised the importance of ensuring people who use care services are treated as individuals, are given choice, control and a sense of purpose in their daily lives”.
