Local community creates a bumper musical Christmas in the home!
Local schools and community groups extended their Christmas cheer to Keate House.
Keate House saw a packed activity programme of entertainment from a whole range of talented musicians and singers from the community, during the build up to the festive period.
The home saw carol concerts, shows, plays and parties that entertained the residents, as well as staff, throughout December from: Cherry Tree Primary School Singers, Lymm Rainbows, Statham Primary School, the 4th Lymm Scouts Group and Lymm Ladies Golf Club Ukulele band.
Diane Clarkson, Care Home Manager shared her appreciation and thanks:
“Keate House has many groups and volunteers who regularly visit and give their time freely throughout the year to entertain and do enrichment activities with our residents, last December was absolutely no exception. We were inundated with support and visits from the local community who were so keen to put a smile on the faces of everyone at Keate House with their beautiful singing, instrument playing and fun filled Christmas entertainment and activities.
On behalf of everyone in the home I would like to extend our grateful thanks to all the Community groups, schools and volunteers who so kindly visited and entertained us. The smiles and fun that you create is so very much appreciated and we loved that fact that our local community was so keen to share the magic of Christmas with us all” .
