The Team, Training & Recruitment

At Keate House, we pride ourselves on having a highly motivated, professional approach to elderly care. Our 60 strong team comprises of Business Director, Registered Manager, Assistant Managers, Senior Carers, Care staff, Administration Manager, Catering team and Maintenance staff.

Each member of our friendly team possesses a high level of expertise and knowledge which is consistently enhanced by our training and development programs. This includes training in dementia care and person-centred planning in line with current dementia-related research and guidelines.  In addition, Keate House operates to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and has Investors in People accreditation.

Training & Development

The development of our staff at Keate House is crucial to our ongoing success and reputation.

All Staff are supported to complete the Care certificate induction, Health and social care level 2 and 3 diplomas this is centered to our home and our residents.

All staff members are trained alongside the Social Care Institute for excellence guidelines and the NICE - the National Institute for Clinical Excellence, to ensure quality and knowledge of the role, which we are continually developing with annual individual development plans.

Our excellent personal development record in providing continuous training in Dementia care and Person centred care ensures that we retain our Investors in People accreditation as well as our high CQC ratings.
